Partner with Greenhouse to improve attendance, engagement, behaviour and life chances for the children who need us most, through long‑term sport and mentoring embedded in your school.

Why Greenhouse?

A full-time coach-mentor embedded in your school

We place a qualified, full-time coach-mentor in your school, not just an extracurricular sports coach. They become a trusted adult within the school community, working consistently with pupils and staff throughout young people’s school journey.

Sport is the hook. Relationships are the driver

We use sport as the engagement tool, but mentoring and relationships are what create the opportunity for change. Our coach-mentors build strong, trusted relationships that support pupils both within and beyond the sporting environment.

Proven Positive Youth Development model

Our programmes are evidence-based and insight-informed. Our coaching is underpinned by over 20 years of delivery experience and supported by the latest research in positive youth development, pedagogy and child development. We are continually refining our programme with robust programme data and evaluation across all our partner programmes.

Who do we work with?

Greenhouse partners with schools serving communities facing high levels of deprivation. Our programme is designed for schools that want to:

– Provide greater enrichment and sport opportunities for students.

– Enhance young people’s oracy, leadership, and teamwork skills.

– Build confidence, competence, and collaboration.

– Increase enjoyment of school, improve behaviour, and enhance engagement.

– See pupils attending school more often.

– Invest in long-term youth development, rather than short-term interventions.

Daily, visible impact

The programme is delivered by a full-time, qualified, coach-mentor who is embedded in your school, delivering full-time cross the year, which comprises of:

  • At least 25 hours of sport and mentoring delivery each week, comprising before and after school clubs, lunch clubs, 1-1 or small group mentoring.
  • Regular access to competitive sport fixtures.
  • Enrichment trips each half term.
