Carsten is a Partner and Global Head of Marketing & Communications at CVC Capital Partners, a leading private markets firm listed on Euronext Amsterdam, where he has worked since 2014. Carsten grew up playing tennis and volleyball and remains a committed athlete today, combining regular running (often with Loki, the family’s border collie, in tow) with kickboxing and Reformer Pilates. He strongly believes in the role sport plays in building discipline, resilience and community, values he has also tried to pass on to his three children, including through family adventures such as a Kilimanjaro expedition with his eldest. He joined the Board of Trustees, drawn by Greenhouse Sports’ mission to help young people build the same confidence and life skills through sport that he has valued throughout his own life.
