As a charity, it is incredibly important that we are able to measure and evaluate the impact of our work. This enables us to remain accountable to our mission and improve our delivery model.
The organisation has a dedicated, full-time Impact Team, which leads on process and outcome evaluation for our programmes. This team monitors how we affect the lives of young people according to our Theory of Change. This includes:
- Evaluation using our award-winning STEP framework that measures the Social, Thinking, Emotional and Physical (STEP) skills of our participants
- Investigation of impact on physical and mental well being
- Engagement with school and education
- Sustained physical activity habits
We believe it is fundamental to the long-term success of the charity to establish strong levels of trust in the evidence we report among external stakeholders and audiences.
