Hard hats and hi-vis alert! We are delighted to announce that the long-awaited repair work on the Greenhouse Centre roof has finally begun. Concealed behind protective scaffolding and sheets, a dedicated team of engineers and construction workers has embarked on the vital task of restoring the Greenhouse Centre roof to its former glory. This marks the beginning of a highly anticipated journey towards re-opening, sparking excitement across the whole of the Greenhouse team.

Safety issues discovered on the roof of the historic 17th-century building resulted in the temporary closure of the Centre at the end of 2021. Nevertheless, throughout this trying time, the dedicated Greenhouse Centre team have been able to continue to serve the community and the young people for whom the Centre has become a home away from home.

Thanks also to the support of local venues like The North Paddington Youth Centre, the coaching and development of hundreds of children from the local community and high-performance table tennis squads have continued unabated.

With the repair work now underway, Greenhouse is filled with optimism about opening its doors to the community again in early 2024.

Stay tuned for further announcements and join us in counting down the days until the Greenhouse Centre re-opens!
