People’s Postcode Lottery

We are proud to be supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, which has raised over £246 million to distribute to charities like us. Thanks to them, more than 7,000 young people in London’s most deprived communities are given the opportunity to transform their lives through sport every year.

As a charity supported by People’s Postcode Lottery, we receive invaluable and committed support which means we can respond to the needs of our young participants as circumstances arise, and build our capacity through shared learning with other charities in the People’s Postcode Lottery family.

“We are delighted that thousands of young people a year have been able to benefit from the intensive, high-quality coaching and mentoring provided by Greenhouse Sports. We appreciate the difference the support of players can make every week to improve the lives of young people and whole communities, through sport.”

Clara Govier, Head of Charities for People’s Postcode Lottery

Prudential plc

Prudential plc is the principal sponsor of Greenhouse Sports’ basketball programmes. Over the last five years, Prudential plc has invested significantly in our basketball programmes, and the impact of their funding is clear: since our partnership began in 2012 participation in basketball has more than doubled from 680 participants to 1,547 participants. This transformational funding has enabled us to engage young people from some of the most socially deprived areas in the country to use basketball as a vehicle for academic and personal development. In addition to our core grant funding relationship, they made us their community partner for Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 2016 and 2017, supported an international basketball development trip to Bosnia and their employees have taken part in corporate team building and employability events for our participants.

“We are delighted to have built such a successful, long-term partnership with Greenhouse Sports. We are extremely proud of all that it achieves in helping young people realise their full potential.” Jane Rawnsley, Group Head of Corporate Responsibility at Prudential plc
