Camilla Knight

Director of Impact, Innovation and Engagement
Senior Leadership Team

Camilla is our Director of Impact, Innovation, and Engagement. As the youngest of three children, she always wanted to do whatever her older brother and sister did…one of these things was to play tennis. After her first tournament at the age of 9, she was hooked and went on to compete across the UK before heading to the United States on a college tennis scholarship. Her love of tennis and sport more generally underpinned her next steps, leading to her completing an MSc and PhD exploring parental involvement in tennis and becoming an accredited sport psychologist. After 13 years working her way from Lecturer to Professor at Swansea University, she joined Greenhouse Sports in June 2025. Across all her experiences, research, and teaching, Camilla has always recognised the power of sport in supporting young people to grow. She is passionate about using research and evidence to develop programmes and experiences to maximise opportunities for all young people. This passion has only grown since she became a mum a few years ago! When not working or parenting, coffee and going to the gym bring her joy and fulfilment!
