Our Partners

Without the support of our partners, we simply wouldn't be able to achieve our vision that every child deserves a fair chance to succeed.

In order to have maximum impact, our partnerships are designed to be win-for-all (the charity, the partner and our young people). With this in mind, all partnerships are bespoke and range from charity of the year project support to long-term strategic partnerships and everything in between.

Every donation is hugely appreciated by Greenhouse Sports and we reserve special thanks to our partners below who have provided transformational major gifts and support.

Through partnering with Greenhouse Sports, we’ve seen our employees volunteer in a whole range of activities. There are so many different opportunities to engage with the vital work Greenhouse does, ranging from team events, to individual challenges, and mentoring initiatives. CarVal Investors’ charitable goals naturally align with Greenhouse Sports’ spirit of teamwork and their aim to empower young people to fulfill their potential.  Our employees have been engaged, inspired and encouraged, and it is incredibly rewarding to see the difference Greenhouse is making in the lives of these talented young people and to be part of that journey.

Players of people's postcode lottery

Players of People’s Postcode Lottery support our life-changing programmes in schools.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery
.

We are delighted to have received support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery over the past 6 years.

As one of our longest and most meaningful champions, they have already helped thousands of London’s children who are at risk of falling behind in society to achieve their potential.

Our 2021 award of £450,000 is helping to give 7,500 young people access coaching and mentoring through sport for a full year. The generous support of players of People’s Postcode Lottery began in 2016, and since then they have committed £2.7m to our vital work.

“We are incredibly grateful to players of People’s Postcode Lottery for their continued support over the past 6 years. Covid has made life in London for children from lower socio-economic backgrounds all the more difficult. Players of People’s Postcode Lottery are helping to make sure that we emerge from this crisis together, ensuring that poverty is not a barrier to reaching potential for any child. Thanks to players we are able to be there for our children, before the start of school until well after the school day ends, all year round." Bethany Kinsella, Greenhouse Sports Director of Fundraising

Sport England

Sport England have supported our mainstream programmes since 2014, and they have been instrumental in helping us grow and develop during this time.

Sport England
.

Our partnership with Sport England began in 2014 when we were running 37 school-based programmes and before we had opened our community centre.

Now, we are running 55 programmes and our community centre has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2018, and Sport England’s support has been instrumental in enabling this growth. Our partnership has allowed us to improve the life chances of children growing up with less opportunity, through sports coaching and mentoring – improving their physical and mental wellbeing. Their support over the last 12 months landed at a time where our usual delivery was severely disrupted and where children needed help more than ever.

3i

3i are supporting our first Greenhouse Primary and Greenhouse Discover programmes.

3i
.

3i have committed to funding the first cluster of Greenhouse Primary programmes at Pimlico Academy and Churchill Gardens Primary in Westminster. This directly supports our newly launched strategy as we aim to reach vulnerable young people earlier in their lives following extensive research into the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences.

In addition to this, 3i are also supporting our Greenhouse Discover basketball programme at Harris Academy Clapham where 70% of the students are living in areas of high deprivation.

This transformational multi-year partnership with 3i comes at a time these young people need their Greenhouse Coach and programme more than ever before in the face of a widening inequality gap, reduced time in education and increased employment challenges for young people living in deprivation. 3i staff will engage in online and in-person volunteering & mentoring, team days at the Greenhouse Centre, taking part in challenge events and will be kept closely updated on the impact of their support through case studies and impact reports.

Blue Water Energy

Blue Water Energy are long term supporters of Greenhouse Sports, funding our Basketball programme in Camden.

BlueWaterEnergy
.

For over 7 years, Blue Water Energy have joined our fight for a future where London’s young people are supported and empowered, whatever their challenges.

Through helping to fund our basketball programme at UCL Academy in Camden, Blue Water Energy are supporting the growth of this programme to reach more young people at a time they need their Greenhouse Coach and the opportunities a Greenhouse programme provides more than ever before.

Blue Water Energy further support Greenhouse through staff engagement, being regular attendees at our Annual Dodgeball Fundraiser at Lord’s Cricket Ground and providing pro bono support for our marketing team. This partnership has a great impact on the charity, young people and the local community and will continue to do so over the years ahead in supporting the high deprivation and marginalised communities hardest hit by the pandemic.

TOSSED

Tossed share a vision of healthier lives for young people in London, and we are proud to donate 50p from every ‘Superfood Salad’ sold to our neighbourhood charity. Beatrice Butsana-Sita, CEO at Greenhouse Sports adds: “We are incredibly grateful to be working with Tossed, a brand that promotes the importance of health and wellbeing, a focal point of everything we do at Greenhouse Sports. All our funding goes directly towards improving some of the most disadvantaged young lives in the country and we’re delighted Tossed is continuing to support us in this way.”

Current Partners

We have a diverse range of partnership types, from pro-bono support to charity of the year to long-term strategic partnerships, each bespoke and designed to be win-for-all to ensure maximum impact.
