Greenhouse Sports will be hosting a week long interactive event in Spitalfields Market to showcase our inspirational coaches and the incredible young people they support. Launched by Commonwealth Gold medal winner Ama Agbeze, this is a campaign to raise awareness about Greenhouse Sport’s mission and how you can support the work we do and Invest In Our Champions.
Greenhouse Sports believes it is not the lack of ability that prevents young people from reaching their full potential, but a lack of opportunity. That’s why we place coaches in schools across London’s most disadvantaged areas – to give young people access to coaching and mentoring and give them the opportunity to learn valuable life skills that will help them succeed in later life.
Throughout the week we will have two unique table tennis tables set up, and you, your friends and colleagues will have the chance to test your skills against one of our young players or against our table tennis robot!
These tables are designed by two talented artists (see below) and will be auctioned at a later date. Sign up to our newsletter here for updates on how you can get these and other prizes such as exclusive prints signed by the artists themselves.
Come down and say hello – we look forward to seeing you there!
Hattie Stewart is a self proclaimed ‘professional doodler’ with a unique and playful illustration style that extends itself through the worlds of advertising, art and fashion. Hattie has worked for artists like SZA, Ariana Grande and Kylie Minogue.
Rob Flowers channels his love for ghoulish characters, psychedelic colours, and anthropomorphic food into his bright and brilliant work. To the backdrop of a hoard of vintage action figures and toys, he creates illustrations that embody this obvious love for humour and characters.
Massive thanks to Hattie and Rob for their brilliant designs and to Art of Ping Pong for constructing these fantastic tables.
