Students from Samuel Rhodes primary and secondary schools take part in joint February half-term programme
During the recent February half-term, students from Samuel Rhodes Primary and Secondary
School attended a Greenhouse Sports holiday programme hosted by coaches James, Jack and Danielle.
The idea of the programme was to help year 6 pupils from Samuel Rhodes with the transition to secondary school, and to encourage them to feel comfortable in, and excited about this new environment.
Participants took part in a range of different sporting activities, supported by selected role models from the secondary school. Pupils played together in a range of games, including dodgeball, football, benchball, boccia, new age curling and many more.
All the students and staff had great fun, and the Samuel Rhodes secondary school students who helped out deserve a lot of credit for supporting the programme and making younger participants feel included and welcome!
