Building community and conversation: our first annual Head Teachers’ Celebration Dinner

In late March, partners of Greenhouse Sports were invited to the 18th floor of the Westminster City Council buildings where the Lord Mayor’s Reception Rooms are located. Treated to a stunning view of London, head teachers mingled with representatives from Sport England and Youth Sport Trust as well as Greenhouse Sports coaches and programme managers. The dinner marked the first of what we hope to be an annual event, providing the unique occasion for the Greenhouse Sports community to come together and share ideas. Russell Hobby, General Secretary of the National Association of Head Teachers, spoke to the room about current challenges facing the education sector enlightening and Mike spoke movingly of his belief in the value sport and activity can bring to all areas of life for young people.

We would like to thank everyone who made the night special. Special thank you to our key note speakers Russell Hobby and Mike de Giorgio, and to the Lord Mayor of Westminster for kindly allowing us to use his Reception Rooms.
