Greenhouse Sports takes on the trading floor at BGC Day
Greenhouse Sports was honoured to be invited to take part in the BGC Partners’ Charity Day, which took place this year on 12 September. The annual Charity Day commemorates the 658 BGC staff lost on 9/11 by providing their global revenues on the day to dozens of charities worldwide, turning this tragic day into one that is positive and uplifting. Since the first event, they have contributed over $125 million dollars to charity. Greenhouse Sports was lucky enough to be selected as one of Mint Partners’ charity beneficiaries for this year’s event, which was our first year of involvement.
Involved charities each have their own celebrity ambassadors who are invited to tour the trading floor, interact with the brokers and make trades on viagra sans ordonnance the day, with all proceeds going to charity. Our ambassador was Colin Salmon, well-known British actor and passionate sportsman, who spent over an hour on the trading floor contributing to the event.
We also brought along two of our year 7 table tennis participants from Crest School, and long-standing coach, Jason Sugrue. They played table tennis to showcase our work and joined Colin Salmon on the trading floor – even managing to make some trades themselves! It was an unforgettable experience for the young people and Greenhouse Sports are hugely grateful to BGC and Mint Partners to have been involved in such a special day.
